Residue

This project was installed in 2003 into the white walled gallery Ne Plus Ultra, located at 1080 Queen Street W., Toronto. The work was created during an emerging Queen West gallery scene. Occasional residential units were still tucked  in behind commercial storefront.  A fictional apartment amidst renovation was fabricated, a sight that was not wholly unfamiliar to the neighbourhood. The project merged the familiar and the unreal, with detailed replication as well as elements of exposed fiction.
