Forgery Island

A plastic tree assembled from an assortment of interchangeable parts rests upon a platform of plastic lumber. The work explores the curious cultural carry over of dimensional lumber into the sizing of an extruded plastic and well as the desire to recreate the natural world through plastic replicas.
