A tree is planted within a city park. Not all that unusual; however, this tree performs outside our assumptions as it suddenly begins to spin in one direction or the other. The tree has been planted into a large rotating mechanism hidden beneath the tufts of meadow grasses. The choreographed pirouettes are periodically put to rest as the tree takes a stationary pause as if to hide amidst its more entrenched kin. SSSpun delicately weaves in and out of our familiar understanding of the world, leaving us with the challenge of rectifying the tension between perception and preconception.
